Below are the five essential steps that make up the
process of cleaning up your credit reports and restoring good credit:
-
CREDIT REPORT ANALYSIS. During your initial interview with a
Credit Source Credit Specialist, you will receive a credit report
analysis. We encourage our clients to bring either their
FACT Act
credit reports or a recently pulled credit report from another source if
they've recently applied for credit. However, we are able to pull
the credit reports upon request as needed.
-
PLAN OF ACTION. Based on your credit report
analysis, your Credit Specialist will create a plan of action to
increase your credit score and improve your credit history as fast as
possible, by addressing what we consider to be the most damaging items
first.
-
CREDIT RESTORATION. Credit Source begins restoring your
credit. Credit Source begins the dispute process by using its
proven credit report repair strategies and experience to challenge
negative items directly with the credit reporting agencies.
-
UPDATED CREDIT REPORTS. Wait for your updated credit reports
to arrive. The credit reporting agencies have 30 to 45 days to
investigate your dispute. They must then inform you of the results
of their investigation, update your credit report and send you a copy of
the updated report. Any type of correspondence received from the
credit reporting agencies should be promptly forwarded to Credit Source
for immediate attention. In a hurry? Contact us to see if you qualify for
our Credit Express program, and we will expedite your case.
-
FOLLOW UP. To ensure that we receive accurate,
legible reports, make a copy of the updated credit reports for your
records and send the original to Credit Source for follow-up.
Credit Source will then contact you and inform you of additional steps
that should be taken (if any).
